National Reading Day was celebrated on 19 June 2026 at Kendriya Vidyalaya GC CRPF Agartala. Students participated enthusiastically in reading activities and book reading sessions. The importance of developing reading habits was highlighted. Mr. Rahul Kumar, Librarian, encouraged students to make reading a daily habit and utilize the library effectively. The programme successfully promoted the love for books and reading among students.
A Library Tour was organized for the students of Class I at KV GC CRPF Agartala to familiarize them with the school library and develop their interest in reading.
The visit was conducted under the guidance of the Class Teacher and the Class Library In-charge, Smt. Sonika and Librarian Mr. Rahul Kumar. During the tour, students were introduced to different sections of the library, including storybooks, picture books etc. They learned about library rules, book handling, and the importance of reading habits.
The young learners showed great enthusiasm and curiosity while exploring the library. They enjoyed looking at colorful books and listening to interesting stories shared during the session.
The activity was informative and enjoyable, helping students develop a positive attitude towards books and reading from an early age.
यह प्रतियोगिता राष्ट्रीय पुस्तक न्यास (NBT), भारत सरकार द्वारा राष्ट्रीय ई-पुस्तकालय (Rashtriya e-Pustakalaya)मंच पर कक्षा IX से XII तक के विद्यार्थियों के लिए 1 जून 2026 से 31 जुलाई 2026 तक आयोजित की जा रही है।
प्रतियोगिता का उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों में पठन-पाठन की रुचि विकसित करना, साहित्य एवं कविता के प्रति प्रेम जागृत करना तथा उनकी अभिव्यक्ति एवं संप्रेषण कौशल को बढ़ावा देना है। विद्यार्थियों को राष्ट्रीय ई-पुस्तकालय से कविता का चयन कर उसका 60–90 सेकंड का वाचन वीडियो तैयार कर निर्धारित दिशा-निर्देशों के अनुसार अपलोड करना होगा|
यह प्रतियोगिता विद्यार्थियों को अपनी वाचन प्रतिभा प्रदर्शित करने और राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर पहचान बनाने का उत्कृष्ट अवसर प्रदान करती है।
The Annual Day 2026 of Kendriya Vidyalaya GC CRPF Agartala was celebrated with great enthusiasm and cultural spirit on 05.05.2026 in the school premises. The programme witnessed the active participation of students, teachers, parents and invited guests. The event was graced by Shri Yatendra Kumar Rajput as the Chief Guest.
The celebration began with the traditional lighting of the lamp followed by a welcome address. Students presented a variety of colourful cultural programmes including group dances, patriotic songs, skits and musical performances which reflected their talent and creativity. The annual report highlighting the academic achievements, co-curricular activities and accomplishments of the school during the session was also presented.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest appreciated the efforts of students and teachers for their outstanding performance and encouraged the students to excel in all fields with discipline and dedication. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and the National Anthem.
Pustakopahar 2026 – Report
Pustakopahar 2026 a flagship initiative of KVS is successfully organized on 27th March 2026 at the Library of KV GC CRPF Agartala under the inchargeship of Librarian Sh. Rahul Kumar. The event aimed to encourage students to donate and exchange books from other classes.
More than 40 students actively participated in the program, donating and exchanging over 180 books, including textbooks, storybooks, and reference materials. The initiative not only helped students access useful study resources but also promoted the values of sharing and cooperation among them.
The program highlighted the importance of reusing books, thereby contributing to environmental protection by reducing waste. Overall, the event was meaningful and impactful, fostering both social responsibility and environmental awareness among students.
A Readers’ Club meeting was held on 27.01.2026 to promote book reading among children. Member Teachers and Students participated in the discussion. The Librarian/Coordinator guided them on selecting books and encouraged daily reading. Member students were encouraged to read at least one book every month and tell about the book to their classmates, So that they will also be encouraged to read books. The meeting was interactive and motivating, successfully inspiring children to develop a love for reading.
