सर्वश्रेष्ठ पाठक पुरस्कार – (अगस्त माह) 2026

केंद्रीय विद्यालय जी.सी. सी.आर.पी.एफ. अगरतला के पुस्तकालय द्वारा छात्रों में नियमित पठन की आदत एवं पुस्तकों के प्रति रुचि विकसित करने के उद्देश्य से अगस्त 2026 के लिए सर्वश्रेष्ठ पाठक पुरस्कार प्रदान किया गया।

इस अवसर पर पुस्तकालय गतिविधियों में सक्रिय सहभागिता एवं उत्साहपूर्वक पठन के लिए निम्नलिखित छात्रों को सम्मानित किया गया:

सुप्रदीप डे – कक्षा VII

त्रिशिता चौहान – कक्षा VI

इस पहल से छात्रों को अधिक पुस्तकें पढ़ने तथा विद्यालय पुस्तकालय का प्रभावी उपयोग करने के लिए प्रोत्साहन मिला। पुस्तकालय सभी पुरस्कार विजेता छात्रों को हार्दिक बधाई एवं उनके उज्ज्वल भविष्य की शुभकामनाएँ देता है।

Investiture Ceremoney

 

 Investiture Ceremony

The Investiture Ceremony was organized on 17th of August 2026 at KV GC CRPF, Agartala to confer responsibilities on the newly elected student leaders. The students were presented with badges and sashes and took an oath to perform their duties with sincerity, discipline and dedication. The ceremony concluded with words of encouragement from the Principal.

Book Exhibition

A special collection of books highlighting the lives, sacrifices and contributions of great freedom fighters and national leaders was displayed. The exhibition also included books and reference materials on important events and movements of India's struggle for independence.

Students and teachers visited the exhibition with great enthusiasm. The students showed keen interest in learning about the heroic contributions of our freedom fighters and the rich history of the Indian freedom struggle. The exhibition helped to promote reading habits, patriotism and awareness about India's glorious journey towards independence.

The programme was a meaningful and enriching activity organized as part of the 80th Independence Day celebrations.

National Librarian's Day Celebration

 KV GC CRPF Agartala celebrated National Librarian’s Day on August 12, 2026, honoring Dr. S. R. Ranganathan’s birth anniversary. The Principal highlighted the value of libraries and librarian Mr. Rahul Kumar emphasises on developing reading habits, the LSRW technique (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing), enhanced concentration, and becoming a lifelong learner.

Library Decoration Activities

 

Library Decoration Activities were organized at Kendriya Vidyalaya GC CRPF Agartala to create an attractive, vibrant, and reader-friendly learning environment. Students enthusiastically participated in decorating the library with colourful displays, motivational reading quotes, educational charts, themed bulletin boards, and creative artwork. The activity encouraged teamwork, creativity, and a sense of ownership among students while promoting the habit of reading. The beautifully decorated library now offers an inviting atmosphere that inspires students to explore books, enhance their imagination, and develop lifelong reading habits. The initiative was conducted under the guidance of the Librarian and was appreciated by students, teachers, and visitors alike.

Book Review Contest

A Book Review Contest was organized on 15.07.2026 in the school library to promote reading habits and enhance students' literary appreciation. Students from class 7 participated with great enthusiasm. They carefully read books and prepared creative book reviews, highlighting the story, characters, and moral lessons. During the activity, participants were seen writing and decorating their review sheets with colorful illustrations, making the event both educational and enjoyable. The contest encouraged students to express their thoughts, improve their writing skills, and develop confidence in presenting their ideas. The event concluded successfully, inspiring students to read more books and cultivate a lifelong love for reading.

Newspaper Reading Session Conducted on 06.07.2026

A Newspaper Reading Session was successfully conducted in the school library of KV GC CRPF Agartala on 06 July 2026 under the guidance of the Librarian, Mr. Rahul Kumar. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of various classes.

During the activity, students read newspapers in English, Hindi and Bengali, focusing on important national, international, sports, science, and educational news. They were encouraged to identify significant headlines, learn new vocabulary, and discuss current affairs with their peers. The session aimed to develop reading habits, improve language skills, enhance general awareness, and foster critical thinking among students.

Mr. Rahul Kumar guided the students on effective newspaper reading techniques and highlighted the importance of staying informed about current events. The students actively participated and showed keen interest throughout the session.

The programme concluded successfully, leaving students motivated to make newspaper reading a regular habit for continuous learning and personal development.

Display of Replica of 'Constitution of India' during morning assembly

A Replica of the Constitution of India received from KVS Headquarters was displayed to all students during the morning assembly on 25 June 2026 at Kendriya Vidyalaya GC CRPF, Agartala. Students were briefed about the importance of the Constitution and its role in shaping the democratic values of our nation. The replica will be kept in the school library for reference and reading by students and staff.

National Reading Day (19th June 2026)

National Reading Day was celebrated on 19 June 2026 at Kendriya Vidyalaya GC CRPF Agartala. Students participated enthusiastically in reading activities and book reading sessions. The importance of developing reading habits was highlighted. Mr. Rahul Kumar, Librarian, encouraged students to make reading a daily habit and utilize the library effectively. The programme successfully promoted the love for books and reading among students.

Library Tour (Class 1)

 A Library Tour was organized for the students of Class I at KV GC CRPF Agartala to familiarize them with the school library and develop their interest in reading.

The visit was conducted under the guidance of the Class Teacher and the Class Library In-charge, Smt. Sonika and Librarian Mr. Rahul Kumar. During the tour, students were introduced to different sections of the library, including storybooks, picture books etc. They learned about library rules, book handling, and the importance of reading habits.

The young learners showed great enthusiasm and curiosity while exploring the library. They enjoyed looking at colorful books and listening to interesting stories shared during the session.

The activity was informative and enjoyable, helping students develop a positive attitude towards books and reading from an early age. 

राष्ट्रीय काव्य उत्सव (राष्ट्रीय वाचन प्रतियोगिता)

यह प्रतियोगिता राष्ट्रीय पुस्तक न्यास (NBT), भारत सरकार द्वारा राष्ट्रीय ई-पुस्तकालय (Rashtriya e-Pustakalaya)मंच पर कक्षा IX से XII तक के विद्यार्थियों के लिए 1 जून 2026 से 31 जुलाई 2026 तक आयोजित की जा रही है।

प्रतियोगिता का उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों में पठन-पाठन की रुचि विकसित करना, साहित्य एवं कविता के प्रति प्रेम जागृत करना तथा उनकी अभिव्यक्ति एवं संप्रेषण कौशल को बढ़ावा देना है। विद्यार्थियों को राष्ट्रीय ई-पुस्तकालय से कविता का चयन कर उसका 60–90 सेकंड का वाचन वीडियो तैयार कर निर्धारित दिशा-निर्देशों के अनुसार अपलोड करना होगा|

 यह प्रतियोगिता विद्यार्थियों को अपनी वाचन प्रतिभा प्रदर्शित करने और राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर पहचान बनाने का उत्कृष्ट अवसर प्रदान करती है।
