 A JIGYASA outreach workshop was successfully conducted at Kendriya Vidyalaya GC CRPF Agartala on 17 November 2025 by CSIR-CMERI, Durgapur. The session was led by Dr. Man Singh Azad, Senior Scientist, and Shri Dilip Garain, Senior Technical Officer, who interacted with students to promote scientific curiosity and hands-on learning.

The primary objective of the workshop was to develop scientific temperament and a sense of inquiry among school students.

The Library of Kendriya Vidyalaya GC CRPF Agartala successfully published its Quarterly Library Newsletter for Quarter 2, covering the period from July 2025 to September 2025. The newsletter highlights major events, activities, book review competitions, reading promotion initiatives, and student participation carried out during this quarter. It serves as a record of library achievements and encourages a culture of reading among students. The publication was compiled and released under the guidance and supervision of the Librarian, Shri Rahul Kumar, showcasing the creative contributions of students and staff.

हिंदी पखवाड़ा के अवसर पर केन्द्रीय विद्यालय जी.सी. सी.आर.पी.एफ. अगरतला में हिंदी पुस्तक प्रदर्शनी का आयोजन विद्यालय पुस्तकालय में किया गया।




हिंदी पखवाड़ा (01-14 सितम्बर) के अवसर पर केन्द्रीय विद्यालय जी.सी. सी.आर.पी.एफ. अगरतला में दिनांक 11.09.2025 को हिंदी पुस्तक प्रदर्शनी का आयोजन विद्यालय पुस्तकालय में किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों में हिंदी भाषा के प्रति रुचि उत्पन्न करना एवं हिंदी साहित्य की समृद्ध विरासत से उन्हें परिचित कराना था।प्रदर्शनी में साहित्य, विज्ञान, प्रसिद्ध लेखकों के उपन्यास, लघु कथाएँ, आत्मकथाएँ तथा बाल साहित्य की विविध पुस्तकें प्रदर्शित की गईं। विद्यार्थियों और शिक्षकों ने पुस्तक प्रदर्शनी में उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया और पुस्तकों का अवलोकन किया। पुस्तकालयाध्यक्ष ने विद्यार्थियों को अधिक से अधिक हिंदी पुस्तकें पढ़ने हेतु प्रेरित किया।कुल मिलाकर यह पुस्तक प्रदर्शनी एक सफल और ज्ञानवर्धक आयोजन रहा, जिसने हिंदी पखवाड़ा समारोह को और भी सार्थक बना दिया|

Proudly Secured Third Position (State Category) by KV GC CRPF Agartala in Dekho Apna Desh Brochure Making School Contest


Kendriya Vidyalaya GC CRPF Agartala proudly secured the third position in the state category of the Dekho Apna Desh Brochure making school contest conducted last year. This prestigious campaign, initiated to promote awareness about India’s rich cultural heritage and tourism potential, saw enthusiastic participation from schools across the state.

Under the able guidance and inchargeship of Mr. Rahul Kumar, Librarian, the Vidyalaya showcased an outstanding presentation reflecting creativity, research, and deep appreciation of the nation’s diversity. The students actively participated in making brochures on topic tourist attraction, historical things, cultural diversity of Agartala. 

The campaign not only fostered a spirit of national pride among the students but also enhanced their knowledge about India’s lesser-known tourist destinations. The school’s efforts were lauded by the  authorities and the recognition brought immense pride to the Vidyalaya community.

This achievement stands as a testament to the dedication of both students and staff, of KV CRPF AGARTLA.

Awareness session to reduce consumption of cooking oil by 10%

 A special awareness session on the theme “Reduction of Cooking Oil by 10%” was conducted at KV GC CRPF, Agartala, on 6th August 2025. The session aimed at promoting healthier eating habits among students and encouraging the reduction of cooking oil consumption to prevent lifestyle-related diseases.


The keynote speaker for the event was Mr. Biplab Kumar Saha, PGT (Biology), who addressed the students with an informative and engaging speech. He emphasized the adverse health effects of excessive oil intake, such as obesity, heart diseases, and diabetes. He also explained the benefits of reducing oil in daily cooking and how small changes in dietary habits can lead to a healthier life.

During the session, a motivational video message by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi was displayed. The Prime Minister highlighted the importance of balanced nutrition and urged citizens to take a pledge to reduce oil consumption by 10%, thereby contributing to a healthier nation.

The session was well-received by the students and staff, creating awareness about the importance of mindful eating. It concluded with an interactive Q&A session, reinforcing the key message of the program.

Informative Video Session on UNESCO World Heritage Site (Nalanda University)

The Library of Kendriya Vidyalaya GC CRPF, Agartala organized an informative video session on the World Heritage Site – Nalanda University, utilizing the Interactive Touch Panel to engage students through digital learning.

The session aimed to enhance students’ knowledge about one of India’s most ancient centers of learning and its global historical significance. A documentary video showcasing the history, architecture, and scholarly contributions of Nalanda University was screened. Students from class VIII actively participated and expressed great interest in learning about the rich educational legacy of ancient India.

The interactive format allowed for a dynamic question-and-answer segment post-viewing, where students clarified doubts and shared their reflections. The session helped foster awareness of India’s cultural heritage and promoted digital learning through the use of smart technology in the library.

Library activities (26.07.2025)

  

 
















On 26th July 2025, a series of creative and engaging library activities were conducted in the library of Kendriya Vidyalaya GC CRPF Agartala. The day focused on promoting students' interest in books and enhancing the library environment.

As part of the activities, students enthusiastically participated in library board decoration, showcasing their artistic skills. The display highlighted important themes like the importance of reading, inspirational quotes by famous authors, and information about literary personalities. The vibrant board added a fresh and welcoming look to the library premises.

Additionally, a book cover design activity was organized where students designed creative covers for their favourite books. This activity encouraged imagination and helped students connect more deeply with the books they read.

Overall, the activities fostered a sense of creativity, responsibility, and love for books among the students. The initiative was well-received and added a lively atmosphere to the school library.

Library Tour for Class 1: Exploring the World of Books





 








A Library Tour was successfully conducted for the students of Class-1at Kendriya Vidyalaya GC CRPF Agartala on 21st June 2025. The aim of the tour was to introduce young learners to the world of books and instill in them the habit of reading from an early age.

During the tour, students were warmly welcomed and guided by the librarian. They were introduced to the library layout, different sections of books like picture books, storybooks, and educational resources meant for their age group. The rules of library usage and book handling were also explained in a simple and engaging manner.

The students enthusiastically explored the colorful and child-friendly books and listened attentively during a short storytelling session. The visit ended with a cheerful group activity, where students drew their favorite books or characters.

The tour proved to be a joyful and enriching experience, laying the foundation for a lifelong love of books among the young learners.
